Q: Where are you located? How do I get to Gondola Servizio?
A: We are located at 1520 Lakeside Drive in Oakland, CA. Click here for a map and directions, or click here for detailed walking and driving directions.

Q: What happens in case of rain or wind storm?
A: In case of inclement weather, we will not risk getting you on the boats. We’ll call you to reschedule, offer a refund, or mail a gift certificate out to you.

Q: What are your hours of operation?
A: We are available with advance reservations 7 days a week year round. The best way to see if a time and date is available is to book online. All the times available for that day will appear.

Tours are available by reservation for both day and evening departures. Advance reservation is required, and on-line booking is strongly recommended. We process reservations and return calls daily.

Q: What are your shop hours?
A: Our hours for customer service staff on-site and at the gift shop vary depending on need. Please call us at (510) 663-6603 to see if we are in the shop or to make an appointment. Typically the gift shop is open Mon-Friday from 11am-3pm, Friday nights and Weekends.

Q: Is any special clothing required?
A: No! Come elegant or casual. The boats are very easy to board, and we assist all passengers in getting on and off the boats.

Q: Are boats accessible for persons with disabilities?
A: Yes! The boats are very easy to board. We assist all passengers getting on the boats. We have a ramp down to our dock so wheel chairs can access. Let us know in advance if we will need to carry any passengers on board.

Q: Are children permitted?
A: Yes. They love it! Children 5 years old and younger are free of charge.

Q: Can I bring wine from home?
A: Yes, we will provide the glassware and open bottles.

Q: Do you provide glasses?
A: Yes!

Q: What if I need to cancel?
A: We require 48 hours notice to cancel. Otherwise, a $25 rescheduling fee will apply for future bookings. No-shows will result in loss of tour. No refunds.

Q: What else is provided during the tour?
A: We provide blankets and candlelight for evening departures. The gondolier serenades you with Italian songs, and may also provide informative talk tours as well. Tours are relaxing, scenic, enjoyable, and memorable.

Q: Do you operate at night?
A: Yes. We are very popular at night when the lake is at its finest, illuminated with a necklace of lights.

Q: Is parking available?
A: Yes. There are over 30 free parking spots available on-site, as well as valet for a fee, and street parking.

Q: I am planning a group on a particular date and time  but I don’t know how many people will be in our party?

A: Book the gondola or gondolas for two people, you can add the additional people fee later.

Q: I was booking a date and time online but for whatever reason didn’t finish the payment process. Now the date and time no longer appears as available.

A: The date and time you clicked on but didn’t pay for will unblock in about 15 minutes. Try again or book another time with a message to me in the notes I can move it to the time you prefer.
