Our History
Our business is a reflection of our love of Venetian culture and
rowing. We want to share with our guests our passion for Venice and
history, but also to keep alive the friendships we've made in Venice
through our work here in America. Our business would not be possible
if it weren't for the people we'd like to honor on this page, and we
graciously thank them.
April Quinn and Angelino Sandri, proprietors of Gondola Servizio, began sharing
the romantic experience of the Venetian gondola in 1999 by providing authentic gondola
rides, complete with Italian melodies, skilled gondoliers , and lovely scenery
at the Lake Merritt location in Oakland, California. Having themselves met on a romantic gondola ride, April and Angelino invite you to find your own inspiring experience on a Venetian gondola.
